Prompt Privacy Shield helps detect and mask sensitive information before you send prompts to AI tools. It is designed as a practical privacy layer for people who use AI assistants, chatbots, and web-based AI platforms in daily work or personal use. The extension runs locally in your browser and helps identify common sensitive data patterns such as email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, API keys, bank card numbers, crypto wallet addresses (BTC, ETH, LTC, TRX, SOL), SSN and ABA routing numbers, VAT numbers, and custom sensitive words defined by the user. You can use it in three ways: - On supported AI sites, use the floating Clean Prompt button to sanitize your prompt directly before sending - Open the extension popup, paste your text, and click Scan & Clean - Select any text on a page and use "Sanitize & Copy" from the right-click menu Prompt Privacy Shield is rule-based, lightweight, and focused on local privacy protection. It does not use AI or send any data to external servers. Detection is not perfect, so always review sanitized output before sharing sensitive content.
