Overview

Prevents sensitive data from being sent to AI models.

Prompt Firewall is a lightweight safety layer for AI chat websites that helps reduce accidental data exposure. When you paste or send a message, Prompt Firewall can detect common sensitive patterns (like API keys, tokens, passwords, and payment card numbers) and gives you a clear choice to: Block (stop it) Redact & Continue (replace detected segments) Allow Once (proceed for that message) Built for teams Organizations can centrally manage configuration (e.g., enable/disable detectors and behaviors) using Chrome enterprise policies and managed settings. Privacy by design No prompt text is sent to any server. Detection and redaction happen locally in your browser. Team policy checks may request subscription status and configuration, but never the content you type. Supported sites ChatGPT (chatgpt.com / chat.openai.com) Gemini (gemini.google.com) Copilot (copilot.microsoft.com)
