Prolific Assistant

Used to love this - but for past few months don't get audio alert and cannot find where to change anything - losing so much as all full no matter how quickly I check in or how many available positions there are

asks for login all the time. refresh rate is low. I always miss studies with this extension.

If you are having the issues that you need to sign in again don't do it via extension . Just log out from the prolific account on the browser and login again then the extension works again. If you do it via extension pop up to log in you will get the account blocked for too many attempts.

Keeps signing me out, and when trying to re log in gets my account locked due to two many login attempts even though I have the correct login information, and I have to wait for an email form Prolific to unlock.

Works half of the time. Once you do get an alert for a study IF it works. It's already too late the studies are full. You get logged out too and have to log back in. I have to constantly uninstall and then reinstall to get it to work correctly again.

I'm so disappointed that things have changed so much. A few years ago I used to get verbal notifications whenever new studies became available. Now I only get email notifications and frustratingly enough, they always appear in my Spam folder, so unless I'm vigilant in checking my Spam folder, I never know when new studies are available. The application is very useful, it helps to participate in more studies. Unfortunately, I see that it has changed a bit, as many people have noticed, including my colleague from Poland, namely after reinstallation (because the plugin apparently had not been updated for some time, so I installed it a second time because I noticed that it had stopped working), you have to manually change the setting to voice notification because the plugin is set to no notifications by default (this is an answe... Not as good as it used to be. It logs me out constantly, never verbally says when a new survey is pushed through. When surveys do pop up on the extension they are already full.

It is good but brings tasks late when they are full it's not accurate

Used to work perfectly. Nowadays, the extension logs you out against your knowledge, pretty much daily. I've also noticed that the extension sometimes stops checking for new studies. I'll click on the extension to verify that I'm logged in, and will realize that the extension last checked for a new study hours ago.
