Prolific Assistant

Not as good as it used to be. It logs me out constantly, never verbally says when a new survey is pushed through. When surveys do pop up on the extension they are already full.

Used to work perfectly. Nowadays, the extension logs you out against your knowledge, pretty much daily. I've also noticed that the extension sometimes stops checking for new studies. I'll click on the extension to verify that I'm logged in, and will realize that the extension last checked for a new study hours ago. If the above could be fixed, it would also be great if the extension could check for a new study every 1 minute (I think It checks every +-2 minutes). Prolific Assistant is br... Show more

Being logged out is getting really annoying now.

what did you guys have done to the extensions, it was working perfectly, now is constanly logging off and need to re login all the time , Fix it !!

Works great if it can stay logged in, seems to get logged out several times a day and the latest update made the login page a popup so my password manager can't be used because it's a popup which is annoying because who doesn't use a password manager these days. Wish the dev had kept it as a normal webpage for login not a popup.

The sound notifs stopped working a year or two ago. In the past month or two, it'll log you out at least once a day, and to log back in, it opens a new window that doesn't allow a password manager to fill in the info. As of today, I can't even paste in my email address. Pleaaase fix this ASAP!!!!

Logs out continually - issue started around 2-3 weeks ago. I probably have to log the assistant back in maybe 7 or 8 times a day, and often don't realise it's logged out so miss surveys. Utterly useless. Would obviously be more stars if it worked!

Very useful but there must have been some internal change in the session renewal token because starting a few weeks ago the widget loses the credentials and can no longer fetch new studies from the API, and a page refresh does not solve it, you have to logout and then login again into prolific to keep the widget working. Clicking the widget also opens a page to login, but since it opens the browser in another user context it does not remember the login and password which is very cumbersome. I... Show more
