ProjectVault turns compatible project-management exports into a searchable, read-only workspace directly in your browser. Import CSV or JSON task files, or a ZIP containing those formats. Browse available Spaces, Folders, Lists and tasks, save useful searches, and export a portable archive for later use. ProjectVault recognises common ClickUp task CSV fields and other common task-column names. JSON files must contain a compatible task array or an object with a tasks array. Compatibility depends on the file's structure and fields. Profile selection does not guarantee support for every native export from a platform. ProjectVault does not connect to project-management accounts. FIND TASKS FASTER Combine text with field-based queries, for example: status:"In Progress" assignee:"Jamie Chen" tag:audit space:Operations priority:high due:<2026-12-01 Save useful query text in Archive tools and reuse it from the viewer. PORTABLE ARCHIVES Export a .projectvault.zip file and import it into ProjectVault on another browser or device. Transfers are manual; archives do not automatically synchronize. Optionally protect the exported archive payload with a password using AES-256-GCM encryption. Password protection applies to the exported payload, not the browser's saved archive library. After importing a protected backup, its decrypted contents are stored in the local library. The ZIP filename and format metadata are not fully encrypted. DevHexLab cannot recover a forgotten password. SNAPSHOT COMPARISON Import exports of the same workspace with the same archive name and stable task IDs, then open the newest snapshot to view comparison counts in Archive tools. Comparison covers selected task fields. It does not provide a complete activity timeline. A missing task may reflect different export filters or scope rather than deletion from the original platform. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Selected files are processed locally. Imported archive content is stored in your browser profile using IndexedDB. Saved search queries are stored locally in the browser. ProjectVault does not: • Upload imported archive content or saved searches to DevHexLab or a ProjectVault server • Read your browsing history • Inspect websites you visit • Access files you have not explicitly selected • Include advertising, usage-tracking analytics or tracking SDKs • Modify your original source exports Archive statistics are calculated locally from imported task data. The extension requests no privileged browser permissions, host permissions or content-script access. No account or subscription is required. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS ProjectVault is a read-only export viewer. It can display only information contained in the selected files. Documents, dashboards, automations, permissions, original attachment files and complete activity history may be absent from standard exports. External attachment links may expire or require an authorized account. Complete offline attachment viewing is not supported in this release. Tasks with the same ID can be merged during import. Import unrelated workspaces separately if they reuse task IDs. Browser storage may be removed when site data is cleared, a browser profile is deleted or the extension is uninstalled. Retain your original source exports and keep downloaded portable backups separately. Practical import limits depend on your browser, device and data.
