Project Waypoint brings 25 years of The Magic Café's discussions to the page you're reading. On a thread list: • Hover over a thread to read a short summary of what it says, and where it went if the conversation changed direction over the years. • No summary yet? The Summarize button makes one in seconds, for a fraction of a cent, and shares it with everyone. • A red dot means a thread has grown since its summary: one click brings it up to date. • The speech bubble opens the thread in Project Waypoint, where you can ask anything about it, or widen the question to the whole Café. Hover over a sub-forum to see what it covers. In a thread: • Magic terms are underlined: hover for what they mean. • Select any passage, a name, a trick or a book title, and choose Ask about this. Every feature can be turned on or off from the toolbar icon, and the "?" there explains each icon. Project Waypoint is invitation-only for now: you need a Project Waypoint account to use the extension. It reads only the Café pages you have open, and never your other browsing.
