Open the current tab or any link in a different Chrome profile

If you use multiple Chrome profiles, say one for work and one for personal, you've hit this: a link opens in the wrong profile. You click "Switch to [Other Profile]" and Chrome opens a blank tab instead of carrying the URL over. So you copy the URL, switch profiles, paste it, and close the old tab. Every. Single. Time. Profilissimo moves any tab to another Chrome profile in one click. The page opens in the right profile and the source tab closes automatically. No more copy, switch, paste. And when a site always belongs in one profile, pin it once. Profilissimo opens it in the right profile from then on, no matter where you click it. Ways to use it: Click the Profilissimo icon in your toolbar and pick a profile to move the current tab • Open a fresh window in any profile, without moving your current tab • Right-click any link → "Open link in..." → pick a profile • Right-click a page → "Pin this site to..." → it always opens in that profile Features: • Pin sites to profiles: a pinned site always opens in its assigned profile, even when you click it from the wrong one (optional, off by default) • Open a new window in any profile straight from the toolbar • Works on Chrome's internal pages too (chrome://settings, downloads, bookmarks, and more) • Set a default profile so your most common move is one keyboard shortcut away (Alt+Shift+P) • Automatic dark mode that follows your system appearance • Backup and restore your settings, and carry them to another Mac (pins follow your accounts even if Chrome assigns different profile slots) • Current profile is clearly marked so you never move a tab to the profile you're already in • Profiles are listed by their Chrome name and account email for easy identification • Settings are shared across all your Chrome profiles on this Mac: set them once, they work everywhere Privacy: Everything runs locally on your Mac. Profilissimo does not collect or transmit anything you browse. The optional site-pinning feature reads page URLs only to match them against your own pins, and only while you have it turned on. Requirements: Profilissimo uses a lightweight local helper app to communicate with Chrome. A one-line install command is shown right after you install the extension, and Settings tells you when an update is available. Currently supports macOS (Apple Silicon).
