Profile Snapshot Lab
Overview
Capture structured LinkedIn and X profile snapshots. Optional backend sync for LinkedIn persona generation.
Profile Snapshot Lab captures a structured snapshot from your signed-in profile on LinkedIn or X and shows the result in the popup. How it works: • Open LinkedIn or a supported signed-in X profile page, then click Capture. • LinkedIn capture extracts profile fields like about, experience, education, and skills. • X capture extracts profile basics, profile stats, and (when available) following-based interest signals. • Results are stored locally and displayed in the popup and Settings. Optional backend sync: • If backend sync is enabled, the extension sends snapshot data to a fixed Web Agent backend over HTTPS. The backend URL is bundled in the extension and is not user-editable. • Persona generation runs on the server after ingest, not inside the extension. • In Settings, users can generate/revoke an API key, clear stored connection/API access state, toggle LinkedIn auto refresh (max once per 24h after consent), and copy the backend guide install sentence. • API-key users can read latest persona memory through backend API endpoints such as `GET /api/memory/latest`. This item is focused on one workflow: capture and maintain the user’s own profile memory for LinkedIn/X and optional backend persona use.
