Record a product user flow with voice narration and upload a timestamp-aligned session to your shipyard organization.

Product Surface Recorder captures a real user flow through your product, with your voice narrating what you are doing and why, and uploads it to your Shiplight organization as a single timestamp-aligned session. Every stream is stamped on one shared clock, so the narration lines up with what actually happened in the browser at that moment. That alignment is the point: the narration carries intent, the browser events carry the evidence. What a session contains: - Screen video — the tab you choose, or a full screen or window. You pick per recording. - Microphone audio — your narration, transcribed server-side with word-level timestamps. - Interactions — clicks, input, form submits, navigation and scroll, each with a stable element selector plus accessible name, role and text. - DOM — a full page snapshot plus incremental mutations, so the session can be replayed. - Console output — captured in the page itself, with no debugger banner. - Network activity — URL, method, status, headers and timing for fetch and XMLHttpRequest calls. - Page context — URL, title, viewport, route changes, browser and OS. How it works: 1. Sign in to your Shiplight organization from the extension. 2. Press record and choose the tab or screen to capture. 3. Narrate as you click through the flow. 4. Press stop. The session uploads to your organization, where your team and your coding agents can review it. Recording happens only while you are signed in, only after you explicitly start it, and only on the surface you select. Nothing is captured in the background, and the extension does not record until you press record. This extension requires a Shiplight account and is intended for Shiplight customers.
