ProcessScout turns one browser recording of a real workflow into a process package your team can use: an as-is process map, a written step-by-step SOP, and an agent skill that AI agents (for example Claude) can load to help do the work. Everything lands in your ProcessScout workspace. A ProcessScout account is required. Create one free at app.processscout.com/register, or ask your workspace admin for an invite. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the ProcessScout icon and sign in. 2. Pick the project the workflow belongs to. 3. Choose what to record: the current tab, a window or your whole screen. Add tab audio, microphone narration or your camera if you want them. 4. Press Start Recording and do the work the way you always do. 5. Press Stop. The recording uploads and ProcessScout builds the steps, the process map and the SOP. 6. When it is ready, open the map, the SOP or generate the agent skill straight from the popup. RECORDING • Tab, window or full-screen recording, from 480p up to 4K • Tab or system audio, microphone narration and camera picture-in-picture • Walkthrough, meeting, interview and presenter modes • Pause and resume, a 3-second countdown, and a clear "Recording this tab" frame on the recorded tab • Switch the recording to another tab in one click • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+R to start or stop, Alt+Shift+B to open the panel • Annotations, stamps and timestamped notes while you record • Schedule a recording for later STEPS, NOT JUST VIDEO While you record, ProcessScout logs the clicks, page changes and waits in the recorded tab, so the recording becomes a list of steps instead of raw footage. It notes that a form field changed, not what you typed. Live capture sends the recording in small parts as you go, so analysis can start before you stop. You can turn it off. RELIABLE UPLOADS Recordings upload in parts with automatic retry. If you go offline, a copy is kept on your device and the upload resumes when you are back. CAPTURE PAGES TOO Use "Capture page" or right-click "Save selection to ProcessScout" to add a page or a passage of text to your project as evidence. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No access to a website until you record there. Chrome asks you for each site. • Nothing is recorded until you press Record, and the recorded tab shows a clear frame while recording. • Typed text, form values and passwords are not captured in the step log. • Page addresses are cut to site and path before upload. Emails, card numbers and other identifiers in page text are masked on your device. • Sign-in tokens live in memory only. • No ads, no third-party analytics, no data sales.
