Privacy-first operation ProAdBlock Shield is designed to process filtering locally in your browser. No account is required. No analytics are included. No browsing history is uploaded to a remote server. No remote executable code is used. Extension scripts are included directly in the installed package. Settings and anonymous activity counters are stored using browser extension storage. Some supported settings may use the browser’s built-in synchronization service when synchronization is enabled by the user. ProAdBlock Shield includes Light mode, per-site whitelisting and compatibility mode to help resolve these issues. Important limitation No browser extension can block every advertisement or tracker. Server-inserted advertisements, first-party sponsored content, rapidly changing advertising systems and some video-platform ads may not be removable through browser filtering alone.
