Password-protect and hide bookmarks behind AES-256 encryption. No account, no cloud, nothing ever leaves your device.
Some bookmarks are nobody else's business. Private Bookmark Vault keeps them encrypted and completely hidden until you type your password. Locked, they are not in the bookmark manager, not in the bookmarks bar, not in the browser's bookmarks file, and not searchable — they exist only as AES-256 ciphertext on your own computer. HOW IT WORKS • Set one master password. Save links with a paste or a single click. • Unlocked, your bookmarks appear inside the extension only — nothing is written to your browser until you ask for it. • Lock it and they vanish again. It also locks itself after a period you choose. ORGANISE WITHOUT THE MESS • Folders, drag and drop, and multi-select for opening or moving links in bulk. • Open a whole folder at once, in normal tabs or in a single incognito window. • Search across everything, then act on just the matches. A SECOND LOCK, FOR THE THINGS THAT NEED IT • Give any single folder its own separate password. • Even someone who knows your master password cannot open it. • Name that folder anything you like — nobody can see what is inside. PRIVACY YOU CAN ACTUALLY VERIFY • No account, no sign-up, no server, no telemetry, no ads. • No host permissions, so the extension cannot read the pages you visit or contact any website. Your browser enforces this — it isn't a promise you have to trust. • Encrypted backups you can export, keep and restore yourself. • Optional "hide site names" so a glance at the list gives nothing away.
