How it works When you click Analyze on a detected privacy policy, PrivacyLens extracts the policy text from the page and sends it to our secure backend for analysis. Our AI — powered by Google's Gemini — reads the full policy and returns a structured breakdown covering data collection practices, third-party sharing, retention policies, user rights, and more. The result is stored against the site's domain so future visits are instant. Your analysis history is tied to domains only — no account required, no personal profile, no tracking of which sites you visit beyond what you explicitly choose to analyze.
