PrivacyLens: Live Privacy Monitor
Overview
See live what each website collects about you — trackers, cookies, permissions and form fields — explained in plain English.
PrivacyLens shows you, in plain English, what a website collects about you — and whether it's asking for too much. Open the side panel on any site to see: ■ Are they asking for too much? Every form is checked against what it is for. A newsletter only needs your email — if it also demands your phone number or ID, PrivacyLens tells you. Optional extras are marked "You can skip". ■ What their rules say PrivacyLens reads the site's privacy policy and terms and points out what matters: selling your information, training AI on your posts, giving up your right to go to court, keeping data forever — with the exact quote. It also warns you when a site does something its own policy says it doesn't. ■ What they collect without asking • Advertising, statistics and screen-recording companies watching you • Cookies: who saved them, what they're for and how long they stay • Attempts to recognize your device without cookies • Your email or phone number being sent to other companies ■ Made for everyone A one-sentence summary, a simple A–F privacy score, and bigger text with one click. ■ Private by design Everything is checked on your own computer. No account, no servers, no AI service, no ads. PrivacyLens never sends your browsing data anywhere.
