Overview

Scrub prompts and network payloads locally so only synthetic tokens reach your AI chats.

Privacy Veil scrubs your prompts and network payloads locally before they leave your browser. It replaces emails, phone numbers, names, addresses, IDs, and more with hashes or believable fakes so your sensitive data never reaches ChatGPT in the clear. Use the floating controls to toggle protection, choose tokenized or fake replacements, and tailor detection per entity type—all without sending anything to external servers. - Local-first: Pseudonymization happens in the page context; nothing is uploaded. - Smarter masking: Emails, phones, names, addresses, orgs, URLs, IPs, dates, credit cards, and IDs are rewritten before requests go out. - One-click control: Floating pill opens a panel to switch modes or disable/enable on the fly. - Per-entity tuning: Select which fields to protect and choose hashed tokens or synthetic stand-ins. - Works on ChatGPT: Content scripts sanitize requests at document_start to catch text before it leaves.
