Overview

Masks emails and phone numbers in Gorgias at both the network layer and in the DOM to protect customer PII.

Privacy Shield for Gorgias masks sensitive customer data (emails and phone numbers) directly within the Gorgias helpdesk interface. How it works: - Intercepts API responses from Gorgias and masks PII before it renders on screen - Monitors the DOM for any dynamically loaded customer data and masks it in real-time - Partially masks emails (e.g., j****n@g****l.com) and phones (e.g., (***) ***-1234) so agents can identify records without seeing full PII - Hides the "Edit Customer" button to prevent accidental exposure of raw customer data - Works automatically on all *.gorgias.com pages with zero configuration Built for teams that need to restrict PII visibility for support agents, QA reviewers, or offshore teams using Gorgias. This extension only activates on *.gorgias.com domains and does not collect, transmit, or store any data.
