Overview
Provides Privacy for Chrome
Privacy Extension gives you control over the data exposed by your browser. Clear cookies, databases and local/session storage for the url in the active tab and its embedded resources (e.g. frames, images, scripts). Prevent browser and canvas fingerprinting by restricting exposure of header fields (Accept, Cookie, Referer and User-Agent) and JavaScript objects or functions (document.cookie, navigator, Canvas.toDataURL and window.name). You may also set your own refer(r)er or user agent. This fields and your cookie settings will be propagated to both: header fields AND JavaScript. Please note, that disabling cookies and JavaScript entirely is one of the most effective measures to limit the entropy for fingerprints. This software is free and open source. See LICENSE for details. Latest changes (Version 1.1) - fixed method for overwriting navigator attributes (delete navigator.* no longer worked in Chrome 43, now using __defineGetter__) - added option to prevent window.name attribute to be used as vector for ever cookies (as suggested in the comments) - added X-Client-Data to list of blocked headers if user agent is hidden
