Screen share with confidence on WhatsApp Web. Privacy Blur helps you blur WhatsApp messages, hide chats, and protect private conversations during demos, support calls, and team meetings. Instantly hide messages, names, media, and chat previews so shoulder surfers and meeting attendees only see what you choose. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your WhatsApp privacy stays protected and no message content is sent to our servers. 🔒 HOW IT WORKS • Click the floating Privacy Blur widget on any WhatsApp Web page • Toggle blur on/off for specific zones: messages, contact names, chat list, previews, media, compose box, status • Hover over blurred content to reveal it — only visible on YOUR screen • Blurs apply instantly to new messages and UI updates during your call ✨ FEATURES • One-click global blur toggle for fast screen-share protection • 8 independent blur zones — choose exactly what to hide • Hover-to-reveal — peek at content without unblurring for everyone • Works with dynamic WhatsApp updates — new messages auto-blur • Draggable widget — position controls anywhere on screen • Blur compose text before you type something sensitive ⚡ PRO FEATURES (7-day free trial) • Persist settings across page reloads — no re-toggling every morning • Custom keyword rules — auto-blur messages containing "salary", "offer", "confidential" • Sender blur rules — automatically blur all messages from specific people • Keyboard shortcuts for global blur and each zone (Alt+Shift+B / 1-8) • One-time Pro upgrade: $5 (lifetime access) 🛡️ PRIVACY & SECURITY • No WhatsApp messages, chat names, phone numbers, files, or media are collected • No browsing history or activity outside web.whatsapp.com is accessed • Anonymous product-usage events (install, blur toggles, upgrade prompts) are sent to PostHog to improve the extension • Payments are handled by ExtensionPay / Stripe — we never see your card details • Works 100% client-side — message content stays in your browser 💡 PERFECT FOR • Daily standups and team meetings — present without exposing private chats • Client demos — keep internal conversations invisible • Working from coffee shops or open offices — block shoulder surfers • Recording tutorials — show WhatsApp workflows without leaking names or messages • Anyone who's ever had that "did they see that?" moment on a call Free to use forever with core blur controls. Start a 7-day free trial to unlock Pro, then $5 one-time for lifetime access.
