Overview

Connects Chromebook users to PrinterLogic's direct-IP printing platform. For organizations using PrinterLogic SaaS.

The PrinterLogic Chrome OS Client Extension is for organizations that use PrinterLogic SaaS for printer management. It delivers fast, secure driverless printing to Chrome OS users, and taps a printer’s advanced features on-the-fly for the best possible output. When a destination printer is selected by the user, the PrinterLogic extension quickly adjusts menu options based on that printer’s reported features, such as duplex printing or color printing. The user selects features they want, clicks the Print button and the job is sent directly to the printer over the local network. For IT departments, the PrinterLogic extension allows an administrator to centrally manage direct-IP printing for Chromebook users the same way they manage Windows, Mac, and Linux endpoints. The solution features a Serverless Printing Infrastructure with a single management interface and completely avoids sending print jobs to the cloud. Since PrinterLogic licensing is not user-based, there is no additional cost for deploying the extension to Chrome OS users.
