Printables Bambu Slicer Fix

Fixes Printables Open in Bambu Studio actions on Windows.

Open Printables models in Bambu Studio without broken ZIP links or unresponsive buttons. Printables Bambu Slicer Fix repairs the “Open in Bambu Studio” workflow on Windows. It converts supported 3MF links into the format Bambu Studio expects and prevents incompatible ZIP archives from being sent to the application. When a model contains multiple files, the extension can automatically open a single 3MF file or display a searchable file picker. File previews, type filters, configurable sorting, and optional Bambu-green highlighting make larger model collections easier to navigate. Bambu Studio currently cannot import remote STL or STEP files through its URL protocol. When you select one of these files, the extension uses Printables’ normal download action instead and explains how to import the downloaded file manually. Optional features include: 1. Automatically redirecting model detail pages to their Files page. 2. Sorting 3MF files to the top of the Printables file list. 3. Highlighting 3MF files for faster identification. 4. Filtering visible file types independently in the picker and file list. 5. Searching model files directly from the Printables Files page. 6. Choosing between automatic single-3MF opening and always showing the file picker. The extension works only on Printables.com, contains no ads or telemetry, and does not collect or transmit personal data. Windows is currently the supported platform for corrected Bambu Studio launches. Native Printables behavior is preserved on macOS and Linux.
