Print Size Check tells you in one click how big an image can actually be printed — before you quote, before you print, and before the awkward conversation about a logo someone pulled off a website. Built for the vehicle wrap and signage trade, where the question is never "is this 300 dpi?" but "will this hold up across a van side?" THREE WAYS TO USE IT Right-click any image on any website and choose "Check print size" Click the toolbar icon to list every image on the page, largest first, ranked by print quality Drag in a file a client has emailed you and get the answer before you reply WHAT YOU GET Pixel dimensions and megapixels Maximum print size in millimetres at three quality levels A verdict against a specific panel: small van side, LWB van side, Luton box side, rear doors, bonnet, partial wrap, shop fascia or A-board A traffic-light rating so you can scan a page and spot the usable artwork instantly JUDGED BY VIEWING DISTANCE, NOT A SINGLE NUMBER Large format is not small format. A van side read from two and a half metres does not need the resolution of a business card, so a fixed 300 dpi rule tells you nothing useful. Print Size Check reports three tiers: Close-up, 150 dpi — decals, small signs and exhibition panels read at arm's length Wrap panels, 72 dpi — van sides, doors and bonnets viewed from one to three metres Large panels, 40 dpi — box sides, hoardings and fascias viewed from five metres or more The panel check then compares the image against what that specific panel needs at its normal viewing distance, assuming the graphic fills the panel. VECTOR FILES SVG, AI, EPS, PDF and CDR are recognised as scalable and reported as such, rather than being measured as pixels. PRIVACY Nothing is collected, stored or transmitted. All measuring happens locally in your browser. The extension has no access to any website until you click it, and no access at all once you close the panel. No accounts, no analytics, no adverts.
