PriceTally Search

Sets your default search to PriceTally Search, powered by Microsoft Bing, with price-comparison suggestions for products.

PriceTally Search makes your address bar price-aware. When you type a product — "airpods", "dyson v15 deal", "sony wh-1000xm5 vs bose quietcomfort ultra" — the suggestions include a "Compare prices" row that opens PriceTally's store-by-store price table, and, for products PriceTally already tracks, a "Price-drop watch" row so you can get an alert when the price falls. Installing PriceTally Search changes your browser's default search engine to PriceTally Search (shown as "PriceTally" in your search engine settings). Search results are provided by Microsoft Bing, and pressing Enter always runs a Bing search for exactly what you typed — the PriceTally rows are only ever extra suggestions you can choose. Searches that aren't about buying something (news, weather, people, markets, travel) get plain Microsoft Bing suggestions with nothing added. Using the PriceTally Windows app? Choose "Connect this browser" in the app once, and the products you watch show up first in the address bar, marked "Saved". Picking one opens the product page in the app. This is optional and handled entirely by pricetally.buntai.com with a first-party cookie; the extension itself stays the same. The extension asks for no permissions: it can't read the pages you visit, your tabs or your history, and it adds no buttons, popups or page content. To undo, remove the extension from chrome://extensions and your previous search engine is restored.
