Open a supported product page, click the extension icon, and an interactive price chart appears directly in the Chrome popup without modifying the marketplace page. The AliExpress price history is then requested for that product and shown in the currency you selected. PRIVACY-FOCUSED DESIGN The extension is intentionally small and narrowly scoped. It has no content script and no background service worker, so it does not continuously watch shopping pages or browsing activity. When you explicitly click the extension icon, Chrome temporarily allows it to read the active-tab URL. A numeric product ID is extracted locally from a supported address and sent to www.pricearchive.org together with a fixed store identifier and the currency parameter required by the existing API so the requested records can be returned. The complete active-tab URL is not transmitted by the extension. It does not need your marketplace password, authentication cookies, payment information, order history, email address, or page contents. The only user preference stored by the current version is the chart currency. On upgrade from the retired Manifest V2 version, obsolete extension-local settings from removed features are cleaned once; this does not modify server-side account data.
