Display a pretty format of workitem history

Pretty Workitem gives you a clean, readable view of your Azure DevOps work item history — right from your browser's context menu. Azure DevOps tracks every change to a work item, but reviewing that history in the default UI is tedious. Pretty Workitem makes it easy by showing you exactly what changed, when, and by whom, in a familiar diff format with insertions highlighted in green and deletions in red. How it works: Select a work item ID on any Azure DevOps page, right-click, and choose a diff option from the context menu. The extension opens a new tab with a formatted revision history. Key Features: • Inline diff view — see all changes in a single column with additions and deletions highlighted • Side-by-side (split) diff view — compare revisions in two columns for easier review • Full revision history — browse every field change with author name and timestamp • Test case support — properly formats test steps and expected results across revisions • Works with any Azure DevOps organization — just select a work item ID and right-click • Configurable modes — generic mode for any organization, or team mode for migration tracking • Lightweight — no bundler, no dependencies, just fast HTML/CSS/JS Supported work item fields: Tracks changes to Description, Acceptance Criteria, Repro Steps, Test Steps, and all other rich-text and plain-text fields. Permissions: This extension only accesses dev.azure.com and visualstudio.com to fetch work item data via the Azure DevOps REST API. No data is collected, stored externally, or shared. Privacy: Pretty Workitem does not collect any user data. All processing happens locally in your browser. The only network requests are to your own Azure DevOps organization to retrieve work item revision history.
