Overview

Merge PPT slides and PowerPoint PPTX files offline. Select pages, preserve formatting, and keep files private on your device.

PPT Merger — Merge PowerPoint Files and Slides Offline PPT Merger is a private Chrome extension that helps you merge PowerPoint files and merge slides from multiple presentations into one editable deck. Use this PPTX merger to merge PPTX presentations, combine PPT files saved in the modern .pptx format, or combine PPTX files without uploading your presentations to a server. You can preview every deck, choose individual slides, enter page ranges, reorder source files, and preserve their original formatting. Everything runs locally on your device. Your presentations are never uploaded, and the extension does not require an account, browsing access, or website permissions. KEY FEATURES • Merge multiple PowerPoint PPTX files into one presentation • Select or deselect individual slides • Merge slides from different presentations • Select slide ranges such as 1-5, 8, 11-14 • Preview slides before creating the final deck • Reorder source presentations with drag and drop • Choose the output slide size when presentations use different dimensions • Preserve themes, slide masters, layouts, images, and embedded media • Validate the generated presentation before download • Process files locally without uploading them • Continue working offline after installing the extension • No account, registration, or server processing HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the PPT Merger extension icon to open the full workbench. 2. Add two or more PowerPoint PPTX files from your device. 3. Review the slide previews and select the pages you want to keep. 4. Reorder the source presentations if necessary. 5. Choose the output presentation size. 6. Click Merge and download the resulting editable PPTX file. MERGE PPTX FILES WITH SLIDE-LEVEL CONTROL Unlike tools that append every presentation in full, PPT Merger lets you decide exactly which slides enter the final file. Select complete presentations, individual pages, or ranges such as 1-5, 8. You can combine PPTX presentations from different sources, change their order, and choose an output size when the original decks use different aspect ratios. The resulting presentation remains editable instead of being converted into images. PRIVATE ALTERNATIVE TO ONLINE PPT TOOLS If you normally search for a way to merge PPT online, this extension provides a more private alternative. Presentation parsing, previews, slide selection, merging, and output validation all happen locally inside Chrome. There is no upload API, remote document processing, or cloud presentation storage. Your PowerPoint content stays on your device throughout the entire workflow. The extension requests no browsing permissions and cannot access the websites you visit. Network connections are disabled by its Content Security Policy. PRESERVE POWERPOINT FORMATTING The merge engine carries source themes, slide masters, layouts, relationships, images, and other embedded media into the output presentation. This helps slides retain their original appearance instead of automatically inheriting the design of another deck. When source presentations use different slide dimensions, you can select the output canvas. Slides are scaled proportionally and centered without intentional cropping. SUPPORTED FORMAT PPT Merger supports standard .pptx PowerPoint presentations. Legacy .ppt files and macro-enabled .pptm files are not supported. To combine PPT presentations stored in an older format, first save or export them as .pptx using Microsoft PowerPoint or another compatible application. The extension produces an editable .pptx presentation. It does not convert presentations to PDF or flatten slides into images. PREVIEW AND COMPATIBILITY Slide previews help you identify and select pages before merging. Complex animations, uncommon PowerPoint extensions, embedded objects, or unavailable fonts may appear differently in the preview. Always open the merged presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote, or LibreOffice for a final visual review. Whether you need to merge PowerPoint files, merge PPTX decks, combine PPT presentations, combine PPTX files, or merge slides from several presentations, PPT Merger provides a focused and private workflow directly in Chrome.
