Proper Pinned Tabs brings Safari and Firefox style pinned tabs to Brave and Chrome. In Chromium browsers, pinned tabs are usually tied to a window, close the window and they’re gone. This extension keeps a global set of pinned tab URLs and restores them in every normal window and after you quit and reopen the browser, until you unpin or close them yourself. What you get • Pins that survive quit and reopen • The same pinned tabs in every new window • Pins you control. Unpin or close a pinned tab to remove it from the saved set • Ordered restore so your pins come back in the order you set them How it works Pin a tab as usual. Proper Pinned Tabs saves that URL locally and re-pins it when you open a new window or start the browser again. Closing the last window does not wipe your pins. Privacy Pinned URLs are stored only in your browser’s local extension storage on this profile. Nothing is sent to a server. There is no account and no cross-device sync. Works in Brave and Chrome (Manifest V3). Some built-in pages (such as chrome:// or brave://) cannot be restored by extensions and are skipped.
