Profile Lens adds up the impressions on everything you publish on LinkedIn and X — posts, comments and replies — and shows the totals in one small popup card in your browser toolbar. It shows who is waiting for your reply, and tells you when and what to post. LinkedIn and X show impressions one item at a time. To learn what your commenting earned you this week, you don't have to open post after post. Profile Lens does it for you and keeps every number on your own computer. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.4 - Insights tab: your best time to post (a weekday-by-hour grid), post types compared, length and hooks, whose posts your comments earn most on, top supporters, follower trend, reply time, and a comment check that flags stock phrases and near-repeats before you post. - Change against the period before on every tile ("↑ 34%"). - Weekly goals for posts, comments and replies, with a streak. - Weekly digest card you can save as an image. - Why? on any post: how it compares with your usual, and whether its time, type or length explains it. - Automatic daily scans at a time you pick. - Reply reminders after 4 hours, 12 hours, a day or 2 days (off by default). - Backup and restore, and separate stats per account. - A first-run tour, a Features page and a What's new card. - LinkedIn scans in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Turkish too. WHAT YOU GET - Impressions for posts, comments and replies, counted separately. Comments and replies are usually where most impressions are, and almost no tool counts them. - Both platforms in one place. Filter the card by All, LinkedIn or X. - Ranges by publish date: last 1, 3, 7, 10 or 30 days, or a month. - Item count, total and average for each type, with your best items listed. - A by-publish-day chart with posts, comments and replies stacked. Hover, or use the arrow keys, for exact values. - A breakdown table of averages per type and platform, with follower change. - Impression levels. Each item is rated against the median of your own items of the same type and platform: very high (2x or more), high (1.25x), medium, low (under 0.75x), very low (under 0.4x). Levels start at five items, so they compare you with you. - Engagement: comments on your posts, responses to your comments and replies, and how many wait for your answer. - Needs reply lists. Comments and Replies each have an All tab and a Needs reply tab, with how long each person has waited. - CSV and JSON export of everything, impression level included. HOW IT COLLECTS THE NUMBERS Numbers come only from scans. Pick a range on the Dashboard, then press Scan LinkedIn or Scan X. A new tab opens on your own activity pages with a small progress card, and collects everything from that range. Pause or Resume any time. Full scan covers the last 30 days. - X: your posts, your replies, then your Mentions, read page by page through X's own requests. - LinkedIn: your recent activity, your comments and replies, then the threads whose counts changed. Automatic scans run daily in a small window that closes by itself. SCANS TAB WITH FROZEN SNAPSHOTS Every scan is listed with its site, range, date, time and time zone. Open a past scan and the dashboard shows exactly what it showed then. Later data never rewrites it, so you can compare weeks honestly. Back to latest stats returns you to now. HOW THE COUNTING WORKS - "7D" means items you published in the last seven calendar days, today included, with their latest lifetime impressions. Needs reply lists use the date the response arrived. - Counts only go up. An item with no visible count is listed but left out of the totals. - X conversations are a tree: a response waits on you until you answer that post. - LinkedIn threads are one level deep, so a response waits on you until you post again in that thread. - A conversation counts as a thread once it reaches three messages. - Weeks run Monday to Sunday in your time zone. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU - Everything is stored in your browser's own extension storage. - No account, no server, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. - Nothing is sent anywhere. The extension talks only to linkedin.com and x.com. - Clear Data in Settings removes everything in one click. PERMISSIONS, AND WHY EACH ONE IS NEEDED - linkedin.com and x.com (twitter.com): to read your own posts, comments and replies and their impressions. The only sites the extension touches. - storage: to keep your numbers and settings on this computer. - alarms: for automatic scans, only if you turn them on. - notifications: for reply reminders, only if you turn them on. GOOD TO KNOW - Keep the scan tab in front while it runs. LinkedIn only loads impressions on a page you can see, so the scan pauses when it isn't. - LinkedIn shows impressions only on content you have analytics for. - On X, very old replies beyond what Mentions loads will not appear. - Automatic scans and reminders run only while Chrome is open. - If LinkedIn or X change their pages and numbers stop appearing, an update is needed. - The extension never posts, likes, follows or changes anything on your accounts.
