Djinbar
Overview
Organize your bookmarks into focused workspaces.
Djinbar turns your bookmarks into focused workspaces, and puts them in a beautiful bar at the top of every page. Work, personal, a client, a side project: each workspace has its own bookmarks, grouped by theme. Switch workspace in one click and the bar shows exactly what you need for that context — nothing else. WHAT YOU GET • Workspaces — one per context, each with its own icon. • Groups — organize the bookmarks of a workspace (Code, Docs, Clients…). • A bar on every page — floating glass or integrated with Chrome, light or dark, matched to your Chrome theme. • Drag and drop — reorder bookmarks, move them to another group or another workspace. • Quick add — save the current page to a workspace in two clicks. • Your style — density, icons or icons with names, separators, hover magnification. • Out of the way when you want — hide it on a given site, or everywhere with Alt+Shift+D. GET STARTED IN SECONDS • Import your Chrome bookmarks: each folder can become a workspace. Your Chrome bookmarks are copied, never modified. • Or start from a template, or from scratch. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no server, no tracking: everything is stored locally in Chrome. • Export and restore your whole setup anytime with a backup file. • Djinbar runs on the pages you visit only to show its bar. It doesn't read their content — only the current page's title and address, when you add it as a bookmark. • Site icons come from Chrome's own local cache. Access to your Chrome bookmarks is requested only if you choose to import them. Available in English and French.
