Boss Incoming! — Your tiny break browser
Overview
Your tiny break browser. Browse inside the popup. Mouse out to close; reopen to pick up again. No browsing history saved.
Browse in a small, movable, resizable window over your current webpage. Take a quick break, then move your pointer outside the window to close it, or pin it open and press Escape when you are done. Open it again to pick up where you left off. YOUR BREAK, RIGHT HERE • Enter a website address or search with DuckDuckGo. • Use the Watch, Play, and Wander shortcuts to open YouTube, Poki, or a random Wikipedia article. • Browse inside the window with Back, Forward, Reload, and Home controls. • Continue the last page after reopening. A YouTube video picks up where you stopped. • Drag the top bar to place the window anywhere within the visible webpage. • Drag the corner to resize it. Each view remembers its size. • Pin it with Stay open to keep watching while you work on the page underneath or in another app. • Stay in the same browser window, including macOS fullscreen. CLOSE IN AN INSTANT Move the pointer outside, press Escape (also on the page underneath), click Boss!, or use Alt+Shift+H. With Stay open, only Escape, Boss!, close, and Alt+Shift+H close it. Closing unloads the embedded website, stops its media, and clears the extension's temporary navigation list. Reopening starts at home, with a Continue card for the last page; × on the card forgets it. BROWSING DATA The extension writes no addresses or searches to disk. For Continue, it keeps only the last page (address, title, and video position) in memory until Chrome quits; × on the card removes it sooner, and incognito windows skip it. It also stores the window size and the Stay open choice. It is designed to avoid adding the embedded visits to Chrome browsing history. It does not read or erase your existing Chrome history. Addresses, page titles, navigation events, and pointer events are processed locally to run the mini browser. There is no developer-operated browsing server, analytics, or tracking SDK. This is not incognito mode or an anonymity service. Visited websites and DuckDuckGo receive the requests you initiate. Normal website cookies, cache, signed-in account history, and network/server logs may remain. COMPATIBILITY Chrome 127 or later is required. On Chrome-owned pages, such as Settings or a new tab, the extension opens a fixed toolbar popup; open a regular website to use the movable window. Some sign-in flows, DRM players, POST forms, and sites with additional frame checks may not work. Page transitions may reload to prevent embedded visits from entering Chrome history. To display websites inside the mini browser, a temporary rule removes X-Frame-Options and the complete response Content-Security-Policy for eligible embedded document requests initiated by this extension in the authorized tab. The rule ends when the mini browser closes. This changes the embedded page's security policy; ordinary browsing tabs keep their policies. The embedded frame remains sandboxed against new windows and parent navigation. SHORTCUTS Alt+Shift+B — Open Boss Incoming! Alt+Shift+H — Close your break You can change these in Chrome's extension shortcut settings. Boss Incoming! is an independent extension and is not affiliated with YouTube, Poki, Wikipedia, or DuckDuckGo.
