DoNext ToDo Manager is a to-do list and task manager in Chrome’s side panel. Keep your web page in view while you add tasks, set due dates, and organize your next step. Use it for work, study, shopping, or everyday plans in a compact lavender interface. Everyday task management • Quickly add a task by typing its title and pressing Enter. • Edit titles, descriptions, due dates and times, and status. • Move tasks with drag and drop, status selectors, or keyboard-accessible ordering buttons. • Search titles, notes, descriptions, comments, and checklists. • Archive and restore tasks, confirm deletion, and undo or redo within the session. • Remember your view position and choose 100%, 115%, or 130% text/interface size. Private, encrypted local storage No account registration or login is required for the extension. Tasks and view settings stay encrypted on this device using AES-GCM and a local device key. The extension does not send task data or personal information to servers. It does not read the page you are browsing, collect browsing history, track users for advertising, or include telemetry. File passwords are processed locally for encryption and decryption and are not persistently stored. Google Drive and multiple devices Export a password-protected .donext file (DNX1, password of at least 10 characters) and save it to your own Google Drive. On another device, download and import the latest file to use the same tasks. After editing, export your changes and update the file in Drive. You use Google Drive with your own account; uploads and synchronization are performed by you or the Google Drive app. A Google Drive desktop sync folder can also be a save location. The extension has no direct Google Drive API connection, automatic cross-device sync, or simultaneous collaborative editing. Avoid editing the same file on multiple devices at once. Web file compatibility Password-protected DNX1 files can be transferred between the extension and the free DoNext Web version. A password-free Web DNX2 file needs the original website’s browser key: export it as DNX1 in that browser first. Imported formatted notes, labels, comments, checklists, creation dates, and other boards are preserved. Choose the board to edit with a compact selector. Calendars and advanced note, label, and comment editing are available in the Web version: https://jim-jin.com/todo 13 interface languages The interface automatically follows Chrome’s language and supports Japanese, English, Korean, Hindi, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, French, German, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian. Arabic uses right-to-left layout. Your task text is not translated. Getting started and backups Click the extension icon, enter a task title, and press Enter. Wait for “Saved on device” before closing the panel. Export backups regularly: uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data can erase local tasks and keys. Changes not yet saved and unfinished edit forms cannot be restored.
