PPAD for Gmail: Encrypt, Track and Control emails

Overview
Encrypt and protect email content and attachments directly in Gmail
PPAD for Gmail protects confidential messages and attachments sent in Gmail. It encrypts Gmail messages and attachments before they leave your outbox, keeping you in control of them afterwards. Decide who can open them, see who actually does, and revoke access at any time, including files a recipient has already downloaded. Get started for Free. PPAD is built for teams that send regulated or confidential information through Gmail, including financial records, contracts, HR files, audit documents, and intellectual property. It helps maintain control, visibility, and audit evidence after content is shared, supporting compliance requirements such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. KEY FEATURES 🔒 Encrypt Gmail Messages Encrypt the message body, the attachments, or both. AES-256 encryption is applied before the email leaves your outbox. 📎 Secure Email Attachments A protected attachment stays encrypted and access-controlled wherever it is saved or shared. 🏷️ Data Classification Classify by sensitivity — Confidential, Internal, External. Organizations can set these levels and their protection rules account-wide, so it's applied automatically and consistently, not left to individual senders. You can also customize your own labels. 👤 Recipient Access Control Name the people allowed to open the email and its attachments. Nobody outside that list can read them. ↪️ Forwarding Control Choose whether a protected email can be forwarded. If you allow it, the new recipient can open the content, but their views are tracked and you can revoke access at any time. ↩️ Unsend and Revoke Access Gmail's undo send gives you a short window. PPAD lets you revoke access long after that, including attachments a recipient has already downloaded to their own computer. Once you revoke, the file can no longer be opened. ⏰ Expiration Dates Set access to end on a fixed date, or a set period after a recipient first opens the content. 💧 Dynamic Watermarks Stamp every view with the reader's email address, the date and time they opened it, and their IP address, so a leaked copy traces back to a person. 📸 Screenshot Protection Screen capture attempts are detected and deterred, which discourages recipients from lifting sensitive information off the screen. 🚫 Copy, Print and Download Controls Copying text out of a protected document is blocked. Printing and downloading are yours to allow or deny each time you send. 📊 Secure Email Tracking and Audit Trail See who opened your protected email and attachments, when they opened them, and how long they spent on each page. Views, prints and unauthorized attempts are logged, which gives security and compliance teams a record of external access that survives after the file has left your systems. ⚙️ Change Permissions After Sending Update recipients, permissions and security settings on an email you have already sent, without resending it. 💼 Works Inside Gmail Compose as usual and switch on PPAD protection. The compose window adds a protected section for the content you want encrypted, and the rest of your sending habits stay where they are. There is no separate secure email workflow to learn.
