Pounce

Clip the current page as markdown for LLMs. Optionally send to Timothy.

Pounce clips the page you are reading as markdown. You review it first. Then you copy it for an LLM or save a `.md` file. Sending to Timothy is optional. Install it if you want a clean markdown clip of the tab you already have open. That includes sites you are signed into. Pounce reads the tab you asked it to clip. It does not bypass logins. It does not scrape the web in the background. WHAT IT DOES • Clip the current page, or a selected passage • Copy for LLM (title, source URL, and markdown) • Save as Markdown • Edit the title and markdown before you copy, save, or send • Optionally send the clip to your own Timothy instance HOW TO USE 1. Open the page you want. 2. Click Pounce. Or right-click selected text and choose "Clip selection with Pounce". 3. Check the markdown. 4. Click "Copy for LLM" or "Save as Markdown". 5. Optional: in Options, save your Timothy URL and API token. A Timothy icon appears in the popup. Click it to send the clip. WHY THIS STAYS ON YOUR SIDE Copy and save stay on this device. If you connect Timothy, the URL and token stay on this device too. They are not synced. Pounce does not use ads or analytics. Page content leaves the device only if you click the Timothy icon. It goes only to the Timothy URL you saved.
