Pounce watches the parts of the web you actually care about, and tells you the moment they change — a price drop, a new job posting, a status update, a table value — without you having to keep checking manually. Click anything on any page — a price, a headline, a job listing, a table cell, an image — and Pounce turns it into a smart monitor. No configuration required to get started: click, save, done. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the Pounce icon → "Create smart monitor" 2. Click the exact thing you want to watch on the page 3. Pick a type (or let Pounce guess) — Text, Price, Number, Keyword, Job listing, Table, or Image 4. Get a desktop notification the moment it changes, with a before/after diff WHY IT'S DIFFERENT • Resilient selectors — if a site redesigns and the original element moves, Pounce recovers automatically instead of silently going blank. • Type-aware detection — a price monitor knows the difference between a 2% and a 20% change; a job monitor calls out exactly what's new instead of just saying "something changed." • Real diffs, not guesses — every change shows a clean before/after comparison in the Dashboard, with full history (up to 100 events per monitor). • Works entirely locally by default — your monitors, your data, stored in your browser.
