It doesn't work. It managed to get a portion of the article I was reading but not the whole article.

Installed today on Laptop. Working Fine. To all those facing difficulty ensure you clicked Extension icon on News Articles not on any main website! (Extension Icon created in the top right corner after installing Postlight Reader on Chrome)

I installed this on a 2core ryzen laptop from hp. works perfectly after restarting the browser. fyi you can re-open your "recently closed" tabs from the history under the options drop down in the top right. 6/20/24

Used to work great, but lately doesn't work at all. Icon is dark, and clicking does nothing as many reviewers are reporting. And worse, there is no developer blog or communications other than the Github repository, which does not list these symptoms as an issue. NTT DATA (an IT consulting firm) owns Postlight Reader. Given their poor stewardship of Postlight Reader, I would steer clear of NTT DATA.

Works well. I plan on using the API https://www.npmjs.com/package/@postlight/parser in my app too. Reminder to reviewers here complaining that it isn't working: restart your browser after installing, then try.
