Overview

Check rules and account before posting, then whether the post stayed visible. It never posts for you.

PostGuard tells you two things before it is too late: whether the post you are writing is likely to survive, and whether it actually stayed up after you published it. It never posts for you. It does not vote, comment, follow or message, and it does not type into the page. You write, you decide, you press the button. WHY INSTALL IT Communities remove posts quietly. Automated filters drop them without a notice, and a removed post still looks normal to its author — that is what makes the removal silent. Most people find out days later, when nobody has replied. PostGuard reads the rules before you post and checks the public view afterwards, so you find out in minutes instead. WHAT YOU CAN DO 🛡️ See the risk before you post — Open a community's submit page and the side panel scores your draft from 0 to 100, with every reason listed and labelled by its source: the community's own rules (karma minimums, account age, outside links, required flair, title tags, self-promotion limits), whether it accepts AI-written content, your karma, account age and email verification, how often you have already posted there and how much of it was promotional, and what other users have measured in that community. 🔍 Have AI read your draft against each rule — Optional, 1 credit per review. It checks the draft against every numbered rule of that community and points out the lines that read as machine-written. Its findings join the same risk score instead of producing a second, conflicting one, and any edit to the draft marks the review as out of date. 👁️ Catch silent removals — PostGuard looks at your post the way a signed-out visitor sees it and tells you whether it is still publicly visible. Four honest states: visible, removed by moderators, reachable by link but missing from the public list, or not confirmed. Being rate-limited is never reported as a removal. Run a check by hand at any time; with Pro it checks automatically at 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 24 hours, even after you close the tab, and notifies you when the state changes. 📊 Check your account health — Karma, account age, email verification, your promotional share over 30 days and where your posts disappeared, plus a full account-level visibility check with Pro, for when you need to know whether the problem is one post or the whole account. ✍️ Draft a reply that still says what you mean — You write one line about what you want to say; the AI only rewords it and is not allowed to add experiences, numbers or products you never mentioned. Length follows the typical comment in that community. You get three versions with a copy button, and in communities whose rules ban AI-written content the feature switches itself off. 🗂️ Keep your own history — Posts you send while the panel is on are listed with their visibility state, and can be re-checked or exported. The list lives in your browser, not on our servers. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Reads only what your own signed-in session can already see, at most one background request per second • Never asks for your password and never uses a developer API • Your drafts, the rules it reads and your post history stay in your browser • AI runs only when you press its button, and the text sent for that one request is neither stored nor logged • The only thing that leaves the browser on its own is an anonymous outcome statistic with seven fields: community name, post or comment, the outcome, a coarse account-age bucket, a coarse karma bucket, whether there was a link, and the UTC hour. No usernames, titles or links. One switch in Settings turns it off. PRICING The risk checks, the account panel and manual visibility checks need no account and no payment. Signing up on the PostGuard site gives you 30 credits for the AI features. Pro ($9/month or $59/year) keeps watching your posts after you close the tab and adds the full account check, the complete history and 500 credits per billing period. GREAT FOR Founders, indie makers, marketers and community members who post in rule-heavy communities and cannot afford to lose a launch post, or an account, to a filter they never saw. A risk score is an estimate, not a promise: automated moderation settings are private, so PostGuard also lists what it could not verify. Available in 13 interface languages. PostGuard is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the company that operates the site it supports.
