Watch together in your browser, with chat on the video. Postcredit Watch Party lets you join a live watch party and talk in an overlay while you stream. You keep using each site’s own player and your own subscription. The extension adds the party: who’s in it, synced playback, and chat beside the show. Why install it If you already use Postcredit to track what you’re watching and keep up with friends, this is how you actually watch with them on a computer. You don’t need a second window or a separate chat app. Open the stream, join the party, and the overlay sits on the video. What you can do • Log in with your Postcredit account • See live watch parties and join one • Paste a party link to jump into the same session • Create a watch party from the title you’re watching • Chat in an overlay next to the player • Stay in sync when someone pauses, resumes, or scrubs • Share a Postcredit party link so anyone with an account can join How it works 1. Get the Postcredit iOS app, sign up, and add friends. 2. Install this extension and log in with the same account. 3. Open what you’re watching on a supported streaming site. 4. Use the extension popup to join a live party, paste a link, or start one. 5. Chat and playback controls stay on the video. Collapse the chat if you want it out of the way, and use your phone to chat or video call instead. Supported sites Watch parties run on major streaming sites. You still need an account and a valid subscription on whichever service you’re using. This extension does not unlock, bypass, or geo-unblock those sites. Requirements A Postcredit account is required. Sign up in the iOS app, then log in here. Chat, friends, and party membership use the same Postcredit account as the app. Privacy The extension stores your login on this device and talks to Postcredit’s servers to run parties and chat.
