PostCraft - Inline Post Formatter

Format LinkedIn, X and Facebook posts inline: select text, click a style. No second tab. Optionally works on any site.

Bold, italic and styled text for LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and Facebook posts, right inside the box you are typing in. Select a word, click a style, done. PostCraft adds a small formatting toolbar to your post, comment and reply boxes. No formatting website in a second tab. No copy and paste back and forth. No account, no sign-in, nothing to set up. Press Enter to add the next item. Press Enter on an empty item to end the list. Numbered lists count up for you. STAYS OUT OF THE WAY In a new post the toolbar is there as soon as you click into the box. In comment and reply boxes on LinkedIn, Facebook and X it shows only a small "Aa" button until you select text or click it, so it never crowds your comments. Press Esc to hide it for that box. It also stays out of your Facebook and X chats, so messages send exactly as before. WORKS WHERE YOU WRITE ✅ LinkedIn: posts (including the pop-up composer) and comments ✅ X (Twitter): posts and replies ✅ Facebook: posts and comments ✅ Any other website: optional. Turn it on in the popup if you want the toolbar in other text boxes. It is off by default and only asks for access when you switch it on. You can switch each site on or off from the extension popup. HOW IT WORKS LinkedIn, X and Facebook save posts as plain text, so they have no real bold button. PostCraft swaps your selected letters for lookalike Unicode characters (𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤, 𝓼𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽 and more). This is the same trick "bold text generator" websites use, except it happens in the post box with one click. Tip: styled characters count as two characters on X, and screen readers may read them oddly. Use them for emphasis, not for whole posts. NOT WORKING FOR YOU? Sites change their editors often, so something may act differently on your end. Please help me fix it: 1. Click the PostCraft icon and turn on "Debug mode". 2. Repeat the action that failed. A small log window appears at the bottom left of the page. 3. Press "Copy" in that window and email the log to me, with the site and what you expected to happen. The log shows what the extension did step by step, so I can see exactly what went wrong on your side. It stays on your page and is only copied when you press Copy. PRIVATE BY DESIGN PostCraft does not collect, store or send your posts. It has no server, no analytics and no ads. It only edits the text you select on the page you are already on. Your on/off settings are saved in your own Chrome profile.
