PostCraft - Inline Post Formatter
Overview
Format LinkedIn, X and Facebook posts inline: select text, click a style. No second tab. Optionally works on any site.
Format your posts without leaving the box you're typing in. Select any word or phrase in a LinkedIn post, X/Twitter reply, or Facebook post, and a small toolbar appears right above your selection. Click Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, or a bullet/numbered list, and the text changes in place — instantly, in the same field you're already typing in. No formatting website in a second tab. No typing your post elsewhere, copying it, and pasting it back. No account, no sign-in, nothing to configure. HOW IT WORKS LinkedIn, X and Facebook store posts as plain text, so there's no real "bold" button available when you're writing one. This extension gets around that by swapping your selected letters for lookalike Unicode characters (𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤, 𝓼𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽, and more) — the same trick every "LinkedIn bold text generator" website uses, except it happens directly in the post box, with one click, instead of a round trip through another site. WHAT'S INCLUDED • Bold, italic, bold-italic, underline, double underline, strikethrough • Small caps, script, and a few extra decorative styles • Bullet and numbered lists • Keyboard shortcuts: Cmd/Ctrl+B and Cmd/Ctrl+I • Per-site on/off switches for LinkedIn, X/Twitter and Facebook • An optional switch to enable the toolbar on any website, if you want it in other text boxes too — off by default, and only requested if you turn it on Works entirely offline once installed. No ads, no tracking, no account required.
