PostCounter – Track Your Daily Posting Consistency on X PostCounter is a productivity extension for X (formerly Twitter) that helps you stay consistent by automatically counting your daily posts directly on x.com. The extension detects when you publish a post and shows a small, movable on-screen counter that updates in real time. You can set a daily posting goal, track how many posts you’ve made, see how many remain, and build posting streaks over time. All post counting and streak tracking happen locally in your browser. What PostCounter does • Automatically detects when you post on X • Displays a floating counter on x.com • Lets you set and edit a daily posting target • Tracks daily progress, streaks, and best streaks • Resets counts automatically each day • Works without manual input Free trial & authentication PostCounter offers a 15-day free trial, after which continued use requires an active subscription. User first needs to signup through the official website. Only then they can log in. Authentication requirement: To support the free trial and subscription system, users are asked to sign in using Google authentication powered by Supabase. Authentication is used only to identify the user, determine trial status, and distinguish between free-trial and subscribed users. Post counting itself continues to run locally in the browser regardless of authentication. Platform compliance: • PostCounter operates in full compliance with X’s guidelines for third-party tools: • Only observes DOM elements in the user’s browser. • Does not call X (Twitter) APIs or access private endpoints. • Does not collect tweet content or user messages. • Only displays local counts and overlays, which is allowed. Data & privacy • Post counts, targets, and streaks are stored locally in the browser • No tweet content, messages, or private browsing data is collected • Google authentication is handled securely via Supabase • User authentication is used solely to manage trial and subscription access Who it’s for • Creators growing on X • Indie builders and founders • Anyone who wants to build an audience on X
