WHAT PORTSMITH MIGRATES PortSmith handles the parts of each platform that are hardest to move manually: - ChatGPT: Custom GPTs (name, description, instructions, conversation starters, knowledge files), Projects, Memory items, and Custom Instructions - Claude: Projects (name, description, system instructions) - Gemini: Gems (name, description, system instructions) All six migration directions work: ChatGPT ↔ Claude, ChatGPT ↔ Gemini, Claude ↔ Gemini. HOW IT WORKS PortSmith runs entirely inside your browser — no servers, no accounts, no data leaves your device. 1. Extract: Pick your source platform and open it in a tab. PortSmith reads your configurations directly from the page via the platform's own API. For ChatGPT, you can also upload a data export ZIP file. All parsing happens locally. 2. Review: PortSmith shows you everything it found: workspaces, memory items, knowledge files, and any compatibility notes. You can edit names, toggle items on or off, and see exactly what will be migrated before anything is created. 3. Migrate: Choose how PortSmith delivers your data to the target platform. Autofill mode fills in forms automatically. Guided mode gives you step-by-step instructions. Hybrid mode auto-fills with your confirmation at each step. If autofill can't reach a field, PortSmith copies the text to your clipboard so you can paste it manually. After migration, PortSmith verifies that your configurations were created successfully and gives you a summary of what was moved and what needs manual follow-up.
