This add-on can block every popup. Many websites open new windows with ads, when you try to mark text or click something.

Dieses Add-on verhindert, dass Webseiten neue Fenster öffnen können. Die "Smart"-Option versucht ungewollt geöffnete Tabs zu erkennen und zu blockieren und lässt maximal einen neuen Tab auf einmal zu. Popupblocker wird von den meisten Webseiten nicht als Pop-up Blocker erkannt, da es Pop-ups kurz zulässt und danach erst blockiert. Funktionen: - verhindert, dass Webseiten neue Fenster öffnen können - Option um zu verhindern, dass Webseiten neuen Tabs öffnen können - "Smart"-Option, die verhindert, dass mehr als ein Tab auf einmal geöffnet werden kann - wird von den meisten Webseiten nicht als Pop-up Blocker erkannt

Effective at blocking New Tabs and Windows which are opened by advertising websites. It works on every NSFW website I have tried it on and to date it has stopped all popups without fail where others have failed
