πβ¨ Popai: Your Personal AI Assistant in a Popup! π₯οΈ π After using AI tools for over a year, I've pinpointed two crucial daily AI needs: a conversational chatbot and customizable tool bots for tasks like concept explanation, email composition, marketing copy generation, styled comment creation, and prompt engineering. π¬ Platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and POE offer these features (I've subscribed to them all), but the constant tab-switching is a hassle. π Browser extensions seemed like a solution, but most quality ones use a sidebar, whereas I prefer a popup format. πΈ Also, both web platforms and browser extensions often charge a fixed monthly fee of around $20 or more, regardless of usage. π‘ This frustration led me to develop Popai - a popup-style browser extension powered by the Openrouter API, giving access to mainstream language models. It includes: - Built-in text-generation tools - Features for custom tools - Knowledge base - Web search - Web scraping - Document references π£ I'm open to your feedback on what features you'd like to see! π Popai was born from a desire to boost personal productivity, and it has done just that, with room for more enhancements. Now, I'm sharing it with the community to help others with similar needs. π Thank you for reading. Hope you enjoy it!
