๐โจ Popai: Your Personal AI Assistant in a Popup! ๐ฅ๏ธ ๐ After using AI tools for over a year, I've pinpointed two crucial daily AI needs: a conversational chatbot and customizable tool bots for tasks like concept explanation, email composition, marketing copy generation, styled comment creation, and prompt engineering. ๐ฌ Platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and POE offer these features (I've subscribed to them all), but the constant tab-switching is a hassle. ๐ Browser extensions seemed like a solution, but most quality ones use a sidebar, whereas I prefer a popup format. ๐ธ Also, both web platforms and browser extensions often charge a fixed monthly fee of around $20 or more, regardless of usage. ๐ก This frustration led me to develop Popai - a popup-style browser extension powered by the Openrouter API, giving access to mainstream language models. It includes: - Built-in text-generation tools - Features for custom tools - Knowledge base - Web search - Web scraping - Document references ๐ฃ I'm open to your feedback on what features you'd like to see! ๐ Popai was born from a desire to boost personal productivity, and it has done just that, with room for more enhancements. Now, I'm sharing it with the community to help others with similar needs. ๐ Thank you for reading. Hope you enjoy it!
