Poof hides the parts of a page you don't want to see — and shows you exactly what you're hiding before you commit. Point at any element and Poof builds a CSS selector that targets it. A live counter tells you how many things on the page that selector matches, so you can tighten it until it catches exactly what you mean — no more, no less. Hit hide, and the matches are gone. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Click any element to generate a selector for it, then refine it by hand. • See a live count of every element a selector matches, highlighted in place. • Hide matches by removing them from the page (display:none) or fading them out (opacity:0) — your choice, per rule. • Hide by text: target elements that contain a specific phrase, with whole-word or substring matching. • Save rules per website. They re-apply automatically every time you return — no need to redo your work. • Review and remove rules any time from the options page, which lists every site you've tuned.
