The in-app guidance system’s primary goal is to help users better understand and effectively use the webapp or website they’re currently on. It provides context-aware assistance, answering both explanatory (“why” and “what”) and procedural (“how”) questions directly within the page—so users don’t need to switch to another tool like ChatGPT or external docs. Because it operates in the same context, it already understands the user’s current view and actions. Beyond answering questions, it can also deliver interactive guidance—for example, visually highlighting the exact button, menu, or field users need to interact with—helping them learn and act seamlessly without leaving the interface.
