Overview

50/10 and custom intervals, breaks, stats and reminders. Block distracting sites during focus. Local data, no account.

POMODORO TIMER + SITE BLOCKER FOR STUDY, FOCUS AND WORK Stay focused without turning productivity into another complicated system. The extension combines a Pomodoro timer, breaks, site blocking and simple focus tracking for studying, working, writing, research, coding and other tasks in the browser. Use classic 25/5, choose 50/10 for longer blocks, or set your own focus and break times. During active focus sessions, selected distracting websites can be blocked. They become available again during breaks. The workflow is simple: choose one task, start the timer, block the sites that usually pull you away and stay with that task until the session ends. WHAT IS THE POMODORO TECHNIQUE? The Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method that alternates focused work with regular breaks. The classic pattern uses a 25 minute timer for focused work followed by a 5 minute break. After several sessions, you take a longer break. The extension supports 25/5, 50/10 and custom intervals. By default, a 15 minute long break is offered after four focus sessions. The method gives a task a clear start and end. Instead of committing to hours of study or work, you only need to stay with one task for the next session. If 25 minutes feels too short, choose 50/10 or set your own timing. If a focus session ends while you are still working well, add 15 minutes once without creating a separate completed Pomodoro. 25 MINUTE TIMER FOR STUDY AND WORK A 25 minute timer, Pomodoro technique and study timer all serve the same practical goal: making the next block of focused work clear and manageable. Use the timer for: • exam preparation; • assignments and homework; • reading; • writing; • research; • coding; • deep work; • focused admin; • repeated study blocks with proper breaks. Choose a small target for each session. Instead of “study all afternoon”, decide what you want to complete in the next 25 or 50 minutes. BLOCK DISTRACTING SITES WHILE YOU FOCUS A timer manages time, but it cannot prevent the habit of opening another website. That is why focus works together with a site blocker. Add up to 100 domains to the block list. Block distracting websites and social media during focus sessions. Blocking follows the timer: • during focus, selected sites are blocked; • if the timer is paused, selected sites remain blocked; • during short and long breaks, blocking is off; • the next focus session turns blocking on again; • a site added during active focus can begin blocking immediately. This is not permanent filtering or parental control. The site blocker temporarily keeps the distracting sites you choose out of reach. Chrome only requests access to the domains you select for blocking rather than requesting access to every website by default. When you open a blocked site, the block page shows the remaining focus time. If access is genuinely required, an open-anyway option becomes available after a short delay for the current focus session. 25/5, 50/10 OR CUSTOM INTERVALS Not everyone works best with exactly 25 minutes. Use 25/5 for short, repeatable sessions. Choose 50/10 for longer concentration blocks. Or set focus time, short break and long break separately. You can pause and resume a running session or stop it early. After the main focus period, add 15 minutes once if you want to continue. Long breaks are configured separately from short breaks. CORE FEATURES • Pomodoro timer 25/5 • 50/10 preset • custom focus and break times • study timer and work timer use cases • site blocker during focus • up to 100 blocked domains • short and long breaks • optional +15 minutes • daily focus statistics • weekly history for the last seven days • focus and break sounds • system notifications • morning reminders • light, dark and system themes • local storage • no account required • interface in 28 languages SEE PROGRESS WITHOUT A COMPLICATED DASHBOARD The Today view shows completed focus sessions and total focused minutes. The weekly view shows completed sessions across the last seven days. Select a day to see sessions and focus time. If you add 15 minutes after a completed focus period, those minutes count towards focus time without creating an extra completed Pomodoro. The goal is simple feedback rather than micromanagement. BREAKS, SOUNDS, NOTIFICATIONS AND MORNING REMINDERS Breaks are part of the Pomodoro cycle. The extension distinguishes focus, short break and long break. When focus or break ends, it can play a sound and display a system notification. Sounds can be turned off, and notification volume can be adjusted in Settings. Moving the volume slider plays a short preview at the selected level. Morning reminders help start the first session of the day. Choose the days when reminders are active; weekdays are selected by default on a new installation. The reminder is not tied to a fixed clock time. It appears when you first open or return to Chrome on an enabled day. If focus has already started that day, no unnecessary reminder is shown. LOCAL DATA, NO ACCOUNT Timer settings and focus history are stored locally. You do not need an account, sign-in or cloud service. There is no cross-device cloud sync. History stays in the browser profile where the extension is used. The blocker also uses limited permissions: Chrome asks for access only to domains you choose to block. BUILT FOR A SIMPLE CHROME WORKFLOW You do not need to keep a separate timer website open. Start a focus session and close the extension window. The timer continues. Open it again and the current focus or break state is restored. The same focus state controls blocking, notifications and session completion. Choose light, dark or system appearance. A small tomato-cat mascot adds personality without turning the focus tool into a game. The interface supports 28 languages. COMMON USES STUDY Start a 25 minute timer, block websites you normally open automatically and work on one chapter or assignment until the session ends. WRITING AND RESEARCH Block social media and news sites, start focus and stay with your document or required sources. Add 15 minutes if you are still in a good flow. CODING Use 50/10 for longer concentration blocks and review weekly statistics later. REMOTE WORK A clear 25 or 50 minute work block can make it easier to start when there is little external structure around the day. SIMPLE INSTEAD OF BLOATED The extension is not a calendar, task manager, team workspace or project-management suite. Its main job is to help you: 1. start a focus session; 2. stay away from selected distracting sites; 3. take a real break; 4. see accumulated focus time. 25/5, 50/10, custom timing, statistics, sounds, reminders, themes and site blocking all support the same workflow.
