Overview
Save bookmarks with AI summaries + auto-tags, side-panel boards, right-click 'Save with highlight', optional bookmark-bar sync.
myClipr is a bookmark manager that saves the page you're reading with a single click — and then makes it findable when you actually want it back. The browser extension is one surface; the web app + iOS app share the same library in real time. WHY MYCLIPR — One-click save. Click the toolbar icon, the page is captured with its title, URL, OpenGraph metadata, and an AI-generated summary so you don't have to write your own notes. The sidepanel also has a "+" button that opens the same advanced save form (board, project, column, category, tags, note) prefilled from your active tab — no popup window needed. — Auto-categorization. Boards (topical libraries) and projects (outcome-driven workspaces with a Kanban view) keep your saves organized without sorting them by hand. AI suggests a board on every save; you can override or pick None. — Notes alongside bookmarks. A third pillar — long-form markdown notes with file/image attachments, categories + sub-categories, pin/favorite/trash, and AI-friendly "save selection as note" from any page. Read, edit, create, and organize notes directly from the sidepanel via a bundled WYSIWYG markdown editor; full management also available on myclipr.app/notes. — Save with highlight. Select text on any page, right-click → "Save with highlight to myClipr". Pick a highlight color at capture time (yellow, green, blue, pink, purple). The quote is preserved with the bookmark and visible in the reader view. — Side panel browsing. Open myClipr in Chrome's side panel and read your boards, favorites, recent saves, AND notes alongside whatever page you're on. No tab switching. — Dark / light / system theme. Sidepanel, popup, and settings page all honor a three-way theme picker — persisted per browser, follows your OS preference in "system" mode. No flash of wrong palette on cold load. — AI you control. Bring your own OpenAI / Anthropic / Google key — your traffic, your billing, your privacy. Token usage + estimated cost surface live in your myClipr settings so you can see exactly what each feature spends. One-click "AI tag cleanup" proposes consolidations + renames when your tag list balloons. — Optional bookmark-bar sync. Mirror your myClipr boards into your browser's native Bookmark Bar so they're a click away even when the extension is off. Per-project mirrors are sorted by their Kanban column position so the Bookmark Bar reflects your workflow. — Cross-device. The web app at myclipr.app stays in sync in real time (Convex websocket). iOS + Android apps with the same backend let you save from your phone, complete with native share-sheet integration. The iOS app auto-registers itself on sign-in so the share extension just works. — Honest about its data. The extension only sends data to myClipr when you actively save a bookmark — never on plain browsing. Privacy policy: https://myclipr.app/privacy — Sustainable web.
