PolyFolio — Portfolio Analyzer for Polymarket
Overview
Visual portfolio dashboard for Polymarket. See your capital allocation by category with a real-time donut chart.
Your Polymarket portfolio is a flat list. You can't tell a story from a flat list. You've got positions across Politics, Crypto, Sports, maybe some Geopolitics. You scroll. You scroll more. Somewhere in there is your real exposure — but you can't see it. Are you 70% in elections? 40% in Iran? No idea. That's the problem PolyFolio fixes. WHY POLYMARKET'S NATIVE VIEW ISN'T ENOUGH Polymarket shows you a list of positions. One row per bet. Current value, average price, PnL. It's accurate. It's complete. And it tells you almost nothing about the shape of your portfolio. - You don't see what percentage of your capital is in any given theme - You can't compare Politics exposure to Crypto exposure at a glance - Category-level PnL is invisible — you might be crushing it in Sports and bleeding in Geopolitics and never know - Whale profiles are even worse — scrolling through 165 positions to figure out what someone is actually betting on Most people squint at the list and guess. Or export to a spreadsheet. Or just don't bother. PolyFolio turns that flat list into a visual portfolio dashboard. One glance, full picture. WHAT POLYFOLIO DOES PolyFolio injects a visual portfolio dashboard directly into Polymarket profile and portfolio pages. It reads open positions, groups them by category, and renders an Apple-style donut chart showing where the capital actually lives. No spreadsheets. No copy-pasting. No external dashboard. It runs on the page you're already looking at. Here's what you get: Donut chart — A clean SVG visualization showing every category as a slice, sized by current position value. You see the shape of the exposure in two seconds. Category aggregation — Positions are grouped by the tags Polymarket already uses: Politics, Crypto, Sports, Geopolitics, Elections, Economy, Tech, and everything else. No manual labeling. Total portfolio value — Rendered in the center of the donut, always current. Per-category PnL — Every category shows its current profit/loss percentage in green or red, right in the legend. You see at a glance which themes are winning and which are bleeding. Allocation percentages — Every category shows its dollar amount and its share of your total capital, for example "$633.3k (47.9%)". Concentration risk becomes obvious. Auto wallet detection — On any /@username or /profile/0x... page, PolyFolio reads the wallet address straight from the page. Zero configuration required. Dark and light mode — Matches Apple iOS system colors. Toggle from the popup and the widget updates in real time. Works on public profiles — You don't need to be logged in to Polymarket. You don't need an account. Visit any public profile URL and the dashboard appears. Shadow DOM isolation — The widget lives in its own Shadow DOM so Polymarket's CSS never breaks it and it never breaks Polymarket's UI. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install PolyFolio from the Chrome Web Store 2. Visit any Polymarket profile, for example polymarket.com/@username 3. The donut chart appears at the top of the page automatically 4. Hover, read, decide That's it. No sign-up, no wallet connect, no external dashboard to log into. WHY A DONUT CHART A lot of portfolio tools use bar charts or tables. Bar charts are precise but cluttered. Tables are comprehensive but invisible at a glance. The donut chart answers one question fast: where is the money? Every slice is a category, and your eye naturally finds the biggest one. Concentration risk jumps out. Balance jumps out. A balanced portfolio looks different from a portfolio that's 80% in one bet — and you see that difference in the shape before you read a single number. The numbers are all there in the legend for when you need them. The visual does the heavy lifting. OPTIONAL WALLET SAVE If you want to use the /portfolio route when you're not logged in to Polymarket, you can save a wallet address in the popup. It lives in local storage and is never sent to any server. THEME TOGGLE Dark mode and light mode. Click the sun/moon icon in the popup. Both the popup and the injected dashboard switch instantly. SPA-AWARE INJECTION Polymarket is a single-page app. PolyFolio listens for route changes and re-injects the widget automatically when you navigate between profiles. No refresh required. REAL SCENARIOS WHERE THIS HELPS Checking your own concentration risk: You've been betting aggressively on the 2026 elections. You think you're diversified. PolyFolio shows 68% of your capital in Politics. Now you know. You can rebalance or hold — but you're making the call with real numbers. Whale hunting: You've heard about a trader putting down seven figures across Polymarket. You visit their profile. Instead of scrolling 150 positions, you see at a glance: 47% Geopolitics, 16% Israel, 15% Iran. You now understand their thesis in five seconds. Category PnL reality check: You feel like you're doing well this month. PolyFolio shows Crypto at +143.4% but Sports at -95.2%. Your feelings were about Crypto. The math was about Sports. Now you can act on facts. Copy trading research: You're deciding whether to follow a trader. Their total PnL is green — good. But PolyFolio shows they're up on one category and down on six others. That's not a diversified winner, that's a one-bet winner. Portfolio review on demand: Every morning you check three whale profiles you follow. Before PolyFolio, that was three long scrolls. Now it's three glances. News reaction sizing: A major geopolitical event breaks. You want to know which Polymarket whales are already loaded on it. Open their profile, scan the donut, and you know their exposure before the price moves again. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT DO - No account tracking. It does not read your login, session, cookies, or any private account data. - No analytics. No telemetry, no pixels, no third-party scripts. - No external servers. All data fetching goes directly to Polymarket's own public APIs. No middleware, no proxy, no relay. The only permissions it uses: - storage — To remember your saved wallet address and theme preference, locally in your browser. - host access to data-api.polymarket.com — To read public position data for the wallet being viewed. - host access to gamma-api.polymarket.com — To read public event metadata so positions can be grouped into categories. That's it. Everything runs client-side. Nothing leaves your machine except public API requests to Polymarket itself — the same requests the website already makes when you load a profile page. FREE FOR EVERYONE PolyFolio is free. Unlimited refreshes, unlimited profiles, unlimited wallets. No pro tier, no paywall, no usage caps. Every feature described above is available to every user. HOW THE MATH WORKS Per-category value = sum of (current position value) for every position tagged with that category. Per-category PnL percentage = (current value − cost basis) / cost basis × 100 Allocation percentage = category value / total portfolio value × 100 Tags come from Polymarket's own event metadata — the same tags you see on market pages. If a position belongs to multiple categories, it's assigned to its primary tag. No hidden logic. No proprietary scoring. The donut is built from Polymarket's own public numbers. WHO THIS IS FOR - Active Polymarket bettors who want to see their actual category exposure, not just a list of positions - Whale watchers tracking large accounts without scrolling through hundreds of rows - Prediction market researchers building mental models of how capital flows across themes - Risk-aware traders who want to see concentration before it burns them - Copy traders evaluating whether a profile is genuinely diversified or just lucky on one bet GETTING STARTED Install the extension. Visit any Polymarket profile. The dashboard appears. No account. No sign-up. No wallet connect. Just visit a profile and see the picture.
