Overview

Market intelligence sidebar for Polymarket: probability charts, top holders, comment filtering, and cross-market odds.

POLYEDGE — POLYMARKET TRADING TOOLS You are trading on Polymarket with 10 tabs open. One for the event page. One for the top holder's profile. One for Twitter to find the latest news. One for PredictIt to compare odds. One for polling averages on the election you are watching. And you are still missing the one thing that would actually tell you where the price has been. Polymarket is a powerful platform. The surrounding workflow is not. PolyEdge puts everything you need — charts, holder data, comment filters, news, and cross-market odds — directly inside the event page, without asking you to leave. WHY POLYMARKET TRADERS WORK WITH TOO MANY TABS Polymarket shows you the current price and order book. That is it. Everything else requires leaving the site. Want to see where the price was three weeks ago? External charting tool, if one exists for your market. Want to know if the top holders are positioned Yes or No? Click through each wallet profile manually. Want to filter comments to only see what people with actual positions are saying? You cannot. Want to check if the same event is priced differently on another prediction market? Open a second platform and search by hand. For active traders, this friction adds up. Every tab switch is a moment where context is lost and decisions slow down. PolyEdge closes that gap by building the missing layer directly into Polymarket. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES PolyEdge injects a focused sidebar onto every Polymarket event page. It reads the market's public data — prices, holders, token IDs — and surfaces six tools without requiring any account, login, or external service subscription. No spreadsheets. No API keys. No setup beyond installing the extension. Here is what you get: PROBABILITY CHARTS — Candlestick charts built from Polymarket's own CLOB price history. The same raw tick data that powers the order book gets aggregated into 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, and daily candles. The chart shows the Yes outcome probability over time, so you can see exactly how the market has moved — not a proxy asset, not a correlated token, the actual Polymarket price. TOP HOLDERS — The extension fetches the current top position holders for the market and displays their pseudonym, which side they are on (Yes or No), how many shares they hold, and the current dollar value of their position. Sorted by position size, so you see who has the most conviction first. COMMENTS FILTER — Polymarket's comment section mixes opinions from everyone: holders with significant positions, people who have never traded the market, and everyone in between. The filter lets you separate them. Switch between All, Yes Holders, and No Holders to read only the commentary from people who have put money behind their view. X FEED — Extracts the key terms from the event title and surfaces a direct search link to live discussion on X, formatted for the most relevant and recent results. One click from the sidebar to see what people are saying right now. POLLS INTEL — For political and election markets, the extension queries PredictIt's public market data and displays it alongside Polymarket prices. When the same event trades on both platforms, you can see the implied probability from each market and the spread between them — a quick signal for whether one platform is pricing the event materially differently than the other. PRIVACY MODE — Blurs all portfolio balance figures on Polymarket with a single toggle. Useful when trading in public spaces or sharing your screen. The blur activates immediately when the page loads if you have the setting enabled, with no visible flash of the underlying number. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Navigate to any event page on Polymarket. 3. The PolyEdge sidebar appears automatically on the right side of the page. 4. Click any tab — Charts, Holders, Filter, X Feed, Polls — to load that panel. 5. Toggle individual features on or off in the extension popup if you want a cleaner interface. That is the entire setup. No account creation, no API configuration, no trial period to manage. WHY A SIDEBAR INSTEAD OF A POPUP Most browser extensions surface data in a popup that closes the moment you click away. For trading workflows, that means constantly reopening the popup every time you interact with the main page. The sidebar stays pinned. You can read the chart, look at holder positions, check a filter, and place a trade without the panel disappearing. The close button is there when you are done with it, but it does not close on its own. CHARTS The chart data comes directly from Polymarket's CLOB API. The raw endpoint returns one price point per minute — every trade and quote update — which the extension aggregates locally into standard OHLC candles. The 50-cent reference line is drawn automatically, since that is the natural midpoint for any binary market. The y-axis is labeled in cents (not decimals) to match how most traders think about Polymarket prices. The five available timeframes — 5M, 15M, 1H, 4H, 1D — are all generated from the same underlying dataset. Switching between them is instantaneous; there are no additional API calls after the initial load. TOP HOLDERS Holder data comes from Polymarket's public Data API. The extension requests the top holder list for the market's condition ID and sorts by position size. If a holder has set a public display name or pseudonym, that name is shown. If not, the wallet address is shown in abbreviated form. The Yes or No position is determined by which outcome token the holder's wallet holds. The dollar value shown is calculated from the current best price, not the holder's entry price. This is a current snapshot of position value, not realized or unrealized profit — the API does not expose entry prices. REAL SCENARIOS WHERE THIS HELPS FOLLOWING A FAST-MOVING POLITICAL EVENT: A news event breaks. The market moves 15 cents in 20 minutes. Before deciding whether to buy into the move or fade it, you pull up the chart to see if this is the second time the market has spiked to this level — or the first. The candlestick history shows two previous spikes that both reversed within hours. You have context that the current price alone does not give you. READING THE COMMENT SECTION WITH INTENT: A market has 40 comments. Half are from accounts with no position. You toggle the filter to Yes Holders and see 8 comments from people who have bought the outcome. Their reasoning, taken together, gives you a sense of what the smart money is thinking — filtered from the noise of people who are speculating in text rather than with capital. COMPARING ODDS ACROSS PLATFORMS: You are watching an election market. Polymarket has a candidate at 62 cents. The Polls Intel tab shows PredictIt has the same candidate at 54 cents. An 8-cent spread between two liquid prediction markets is unusual. You use that information to decide whether to arb, or whether one platform is seeing something the other is not. CHECKING WHO IS HOLDING BEFORE A RESOLUTION: The market resolves in 48 hours. You want to know if the large holders are positioned the same way you are, or if they are on the other side. The Holders tab shows the top 10 positions by size, their sides, and their current dollar exposure. Two minutes of reading instead of 20 minutes of wallet-clicking. TRADING IN A MEETING: You need to check your Polymarket portfolio quickly, but you are on a video call. Privacy Mode blurs every balance figure on the site with a single click. The market data is still visible; only the dollar amounts are hidden. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT DO This extension does not collect any information about you, your trades, your wallet, or your browsing behavior. No data is sent to any external server operated by this extension — there is no such server. It does not require a login or account of any kind. It does not sell or share data with third parties. The only network requests the extension makes are to Polymarket's own public APIs (to read market data), PredictIt's public API (to read market odds), and publish.twitter.com (to generate tweet embed links). The only permissions it uses: - storage — saves your feature toggle preferences locally on your device - alarms — used by the service worker to schedule background refresh tasks Host permissions: - gamma-api.polymarket.com — fetches event and market metadata - data-api.polymarket.com — fetches top holder data - clob.polymarket.com — fetches price history for charts - www.predictit.org — fetches cross-market odds for Polls Intel - publish.twitter.com — generates X search embed links All data is processed locally. Nothing is logged. FREE TO USE PolyEdge is free. All six features — Charts, Top Holders, Comments Filter, X Feed, Polls Intel, and Privacy Mode — are available with no usage limit, no premium tier, and no subscription. WHO THIS IS FOR - Active Polymarket traders who want market history, not just current price - Traders who want to understand who is positioned on each side of a market before taking a position - Anyone who uses Polymarket's comment section and wants to separate holder commentary from general discussion - Traders who follow the same events across multiple prediction markets and want to compare odds quickly - People who check their portfolio in places where privacy matters GETTING STARTED Install the extension, open any Polymarket event page, and the sidebar appears. The chart loads automatically for markets with available price history. No configuration required. No account needed. No sign-up. No credit card. Just open Polymarket.
