Overview
One-click authenticated full-page screenshots with embedded metadata for verification.
Stash captures full-page browser screenshots and embeds the context AI tools need to understand what they are seeing. With one click, Stash scrolls the current page, stitches the full screenshot, and saves a PNG with visible and machine-readable metadata. Each capture includes the page URL, title, timestamp, browser details, viewport dimensions, page height, capture part fields for long pages, and generic visible page context such as headings, breadcrumbs, workspace names, or account/page labels when available. Stash also computes verification metadata, including SHA-256 image hashes, a DOM hash from the page at capture time, a local ECDSA signature, and a server-attested timestamp when available. The raw DOM is not stored, copied, or sent to Stash servers; it is used only to compute a hash for verification. Long pages are split into ordered PNG parts so very tall captures stay reliable. Stash for Mac can import those downloaded PNG parts from your Downloads folder into History, preserving the embedded metadata for later use with AI workflows. Use Stash when a normal screenshot is not enough: authenticated dashboards, long web apps, research pages, customer records, receipts, audit trails, bug reports, and any browser workflow where the screenshot needs URL, DOM-derived proof, and surrounding context.
